Rugged Lark’s Statue Donated to Horse Park

The bronze statue of Rugged Lark is shown before a monthly meeting of the board of directors of the Florida Agriculture Center and Horse Park at Bo-Bett Farm in Reddick, Fla. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Carol Harris, who was Rugged Lark’s owner, trainer and breeder, has decided to donate his bronze statue, and numerous other items from her Rugged Lark collection to the Florida Horse Park. The statue and the donated memorabilia will be prominently displayed at the Horse Park, where the arena will be named after Rugged Lark. Rugged Lark, a quarter horse stallion, who passed away in Oct. 2004, was a two-time American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) World Show Superhorse and a three-time AQHA World Champion.
